Soak the roots in water for a few hours before planting. Choose a location in full sun with moist to wet soil. Dig a hole wide enough to spread the roots without crowding, and position the tree at the same depth it grew previously. Backfill with native soil, firm gently, and water thoroughly to settle the soil and eliminate air pockets. Apply a layer of mulch around the base, keeping it away from the trunk.

Water regularly during the first growing season to help establish a strong root system. Once established, Bald Cypress is relatively low-maintenance and can tolerate both wet and average soil conditions. Pruning is generally not necessary, but you can remove dead or damaged branches as needed. This tree is a beautiful and functional addition to wetland gardens, rain gardens, and large landscapes.

What's Included

One (1) Bald Cypress bare root tree, 12-24 inches tall.

https://blakesflora.com/products/1-bald-cypress-bare-root-tree-12-24-in-taxodium-distichum-wetland-landscape
