This heirloom variety brings vibrant seasonal color to temperate landscapes and is a traditional favorite for borders, hedges, and specimen plantings. Its graceful weeping habit adds elegant architectural interest through the growing season. The following season brings lush green foliage that turns an attractive shade in autumn, and the plant may be shaped or left to cascade naturally. Forsythia is well suited to mixed shrub borders, informal hedges, and slope plantings where its early bloom signals the start of spring. The cut branches are also enjoyed indoors for seasonal arrangements.

Species: Forsythia suspensa
Variety: Weeping Forsythia
Type: Deciduous flowering shrub
Plant_Habit: Arching, weeping, spreading
Sun: Full sun to partial shade
Soil: Well-drained, moderately fertile soil
Days_to_Harvest: Not applicable
Zones: 4 to 8
Germination: 20 to 45 days with cold stratification
Sowing: Surface sow, lightly press into soil, keep moist
Spacing: 4 to 6 feet apart
Notes: Blooms on previous year's wood; prune after flowering

https://blakesflora.com/products/10-forsythia-suspensa-seeds-golden-bell-weeping-shrub-ornamental-garden-hedge
