Its delicate four-petaled blooms range from pale lilac to mauve and white, opening in late afternoon and filling the garden with scent after dusk. A wonderful choice for cottage-style borders, cutting gardens, and naturalized meadow plantings.
Plant in full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil. Blooming from summer into early autumn, the flowers attract bees, butterflies, and night-flying pollinators. Excellent for mass planting, mixed wildflower areas, and containers near patios or seating areas where the evening fragrance can be enjoyed. Allow spent blooms to develop seed pods for self-sowing, or collect seeds for the next season.
Species: Matthiola longipetala
Type: Annual
Plant Habit: Upright, branching
Sun: Full sun to partial shade
Soil: Well-drained, sandy to loamy
Days to Harvest: 60-80
Zones: 2-11
Germination: 10-20 days
Sowing: Surface sow, lightly press into soil
Spacing: 6-9 inches
Notes: Fragrant in the evening

https://blakesflora.com/products/100-seeds-evening-scented-stock-matthiola-longipetala-fragrant-wildflower-cottage-garden
