Soak seeds in warm water for 24 hours, then sow in a well-draining seed-starting mix, barely covering the seeds. Maintain a warm temperature (70-80°F) and keep the medium consistently moist. Germination can be slow and uneven, often taking several weeks to months. Once seedlings have developed a few true leaves, transplant them into individual pots and gradually acclimate them to outdoor conditions.

Fig trees thrive in full sun and well-drained soil. Water regularly during the growing season, but allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings to prevent root rot. In cooler zones, grow in containers and move indoors or provide winter protection. Prune to maintain shape and encourage fruiting. Fertilize lightly in spring with a balanced fertilizer.

What's Included

100 Yellow Long Neck Fig Seeds (Ficus carica).
