Lightly press seeds into the surface of a moist, well-draining seed-starting mix; do not cover completely as light aids germination. Maintain a temperature around 65-70°F (18-21°C) and keep the medium evenly moist but not waterlogged. Germination typically occurs in 14-30 days. Once seedlings have developed several true leaves and all danger of frost has passed, harden them off gradually and transplant outdoors.

Choose a sunny to partially shaded location with well-drained soil. Water regularly during the first growing season to help establish a deep root system. Once established, Ingwersen's Geranium is relatively low-maintenance and drought tolerant. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continued blooming and trim back foliage after flowering to promote fresh growth. Mulch around plants in winter to protect roots in colder zones.

What's Included

25 Ingwersen's Geranium seeds.
