Lightly press seeds into the surface of a moist, well-draining seed-starting mix; do not cover completely as light aids germination. Maintain a temperature of 65-70°F (18-21°C) and keep the medium consistently moist but not soggy. Germination can be slow and uneven, typically taking 14-30 days. Once seedlings have developed several true leaves and all danger of frost has passed, harden them off gradually and transplant outdoors after acclimating.

Choose a location with full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. Water regularly during the first growing season to help establish a deep root system. Once established, Irish Blue Geranium is relatively drought-tolerant but performs best with consistent moisture. Mulch around plants to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional blooms and maintain a tidy appearance. In late fall, cut back foliage after it dies back naturally to prepare for winter.

What's Included

25 Irish Blue Geranium seeds.
