Place seeds in a moist paper towel or peat moss inside a sealed bag and refrigerate for 6–8 weeks. After stratification, sow seeds about 1/2 inch deep in small pots filled with a well-draining seed-starting mix. Keep the medium consistently moist but not waterlogged, and maintain a temperature around 65–75°F. Germination can be slow and variable, so patience is key.

Once seedlings have several sets of true leaves, transplant them into larger containers or a nursery bed. Provide full sun and regular watering, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. When trees are large enough, plant them in their permanent location with adequate spacing. Apple trees benefit from annual pruning to shape the canopy and remove dead wood. Note that apples grown from seed may not produce fruit identical to the parent variety, but they can still yield enjoyable fruit and serve as a fascinating garden project.

What's Included

25 Scrumptious Apple Seeds.
