Soak the roots in water for a few hours before planting. Dig a hole wide enough to spread the roots without crowding, and position the crown at or slightly below soil level. Backfill with native soil, firm gently, and water thoroughly to settle the soil. Apply a layer of mulch around the base, keeping it a few inches away from the stems.

Water regularly during the first growing season to help the shrub establish a strong root system. Once established, weigela is fairly drought tolerant but performs best with consistent moisture. Prune after flowering to shape the plant and remove any dead or damaged wood. Variegated weigela generally requires little fertilizer; a light application of balanced fertilizer in early spring is usually sufficient.

What's Included

This listing includes 3 variegated weigela bare root plants (Weigela florida) with pink flowers.

https://blakesflora.com/products/3-variegated-weigela-shrubs-weigela-florida-bare-root-plants-with-pink-flowers
