Prepare a fine, loose seedbed free of rocks and clods to encourage straight root development. Plant seeds ¼ inch deep and keep the soil consistently moist until germination, which typically occurs in 10–21 days. Thin seedlings to 2–3 inches apart once they are 2 inches tall to allow proper root growth.

Carrots require even moisture throughout the growing season; avoid letting the soil dry out completely, as this can cause roots to split or become woody. Mulch lightly to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Harvest when roots reach the desired size, usually 70–80 days after sowing. For a continuous supply, succession sow every 2–3 weeks until midsummer.

What's Included

300 Cosmic Purple Carrot seeds (Daucus carota).
