Use a well-draining seed-starting mix and lightly cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil, as they need darkness to germinate. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, and maintain a temperature around 65-70°F. Germination typically occurs in 10-21 days. Once seedlings have two sets of true leaves, transplant them into individual pots and gradually acclimate them to outdoor conditions before planting in the garden after the danger of frost has passed.

Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil. Space plants 12-18 inches apart to allow for good air circulation. Water regularly during the first few weeks to help establish a deep root system, then reduce watering as plants become more drought tolerant. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continued blooming. Cape Daisies are generally pest and disease resistant but avoid overhead watering to prevent fungal issues.

What's Included

50 Double Purple Cape Daisy seeds (Osteospermum ecklonis).

https://blakesflora.com/products/50-double-purple-cape-daisy-seeds-osteospermum-ecklonis-layered-blooms
