Keep the medium consistently moist but not soggy, and provide bright, indirect light or filtered sun. High humidity helps; a humidity dome or plastic bag can be used, but vent it occasionally to prevent mold. Roots typically form within several weeks, though timing varies with temperature and conditions.

Once roots are established, transplant the young plants into larger containers or a sunny garden spot with well-drained soil. Water regularly during the first growing season to help them establish, then reduce watering as plants mature. Pomegranates benefit from full sun and can be pruned to shape a single-trunk tree or left to grow as a multi-stemmed shrub. In colder zones, grow in containers and move indoors or provide protection during winter.

What's Included

7 Pomegranate Tree cuttings (Punica granatum), each approximately 6 inches long.
