Refrigerate for 6-8 weeks to simulate winter conditions. After stratification, sow seeds indoors in pots filled with a well-draining seed-starting mix. Keep the medium consistently moist and maintain a temperature around 70°F (21°C). Germination can take several weeks to a few months. Once seedlings have developed several true leaves, transplant them into larger pots and gradually acclimate them to outdoor conditions.

Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil for planting outdoors. Water regularly during the first growing season to help establish a strong root system. Mulch around the base to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Prune as needed to shape the tree and remove dead or crossing branches. Apple trees benefit from cross-pollination, so planting another apple variety nearby can improve fruit set. Be patient—seed-grown apple trees may take several years to produce fruit.

What's Included

25 Amere de Berthecourt apple seeds.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0994/4884/8694/files/il_fullxfull.6998460835_ckqn_034e9f35-9cbc-430e-a846-9c232d779c86.jpg?v=1792670716
