Place seeds in a moist paper towel inside a sealed plastic bag and refrigerate for 6-8 weeks. After stratification, sow seeds indoors in pots filled with a well-draining seed-starting mix, barely covering them with soil. Keep the medium consistently moist and maintain a temperature around 70°F (21°C). Germination can take several weeks to a few months.

Once seedlings have developed a few sets of true leaves, transplant them into larger pots or directly into the garden after the last frost. Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil. Water regularly during the first growing season to help establish a strong root system. Mulch around the base to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Note that apple trees grown from seed may not produce fruit identical to the parent; for guaranteed variety, grafting is recommended. With patience and care, your Baldwin apple trees will grow into beautiful, productive additions to your landscape.

What's Included

25 Baldwin Apple Seeds
