Plant seeds 1/8 inch deep and keep the soil consistently moist until germination, which typically occurs in 7-14 days. Thin seedlings to 6-8 inches apart to allow for proper growth. For a continuous harvest, sow seeds every 2-3 weeks until early summer, and again in late summer for a fall crop.

Lettuce prefers cool weather and may bolt (go to seed) in hot temperatures. Provide partial shade during the hottest part of the day to extend the harvest. Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Mulch around plants to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Harvest outer leaves when they are young and tender, or cut the entire head at the base for a full harvest.

What's Included

1000 Black Seeded Simpson Lettuce Seeds (Lactuca sativa).

https://blakesflora.com/products/black-seeded-simpson-lettuce-seeds-1000-heirloom-lactuca-sativa-seeds-for-planting
