Plant seeds about 1 inch deep in hills or rows, spacing them as recommended. For a head start, start seeds indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost using biodegradable pots to avoid disturbing roots. Water regularly to keep soil evenly moist, especially during flowering and fruit development. Mulching helps retain moisture and suppress weeds.

As vines grow, provide plenty of space for them to sprawl. Watermelons benefit from consistent watering; reduce watering slightly as fruit ripens to concentrate sugars. Protect young plants from pests and diseases with good air circulation and crop rotation. Harvest when the tendril nearest the fruit turns brown and the underside of the melon turns creamy yellow.

What's Included

5 Carolina Cross Watermelon seeds (Citrullus lanatus).

https://blakesflora.com/products/carolina-cross-watermelon-seeds-giant-sweet-heirloom-variety-5-seeds
