These seeds benefit from cold stratification; you can achieve this by refrigerating the seeds for 4-6 weeks before sowing or by sowing outdoors in fall and allowing natural winter chilling. Lightly press seeds into the soil surface, as they need light to germinate. Maintain even moisture and provide a temperature around 65-70°F (18-21°C). Germination can be slow and uneven, so be patient.

Once seedlings have developed true leaves, transplant them into individual pots or a prepared garden bed with rich, moist soil. Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist, especially during dry periods. Mulch around plants to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Midland Shooting Star prefers partial shade but can tolerate more sun if soil remains moist. Avoid disturbing the plants once established, as they have a delicate root system.

What's Included

100 Dodecatheon meadia seeds (Midland Shooting Star).

https://blakesflora.com/products/dodecatheon-meadia-seeds-100-midland-shooting-star-native-wildflower-seeds
