Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and plant at the same depth it was growing in its container. Water thoroughly after planting and maintain consistent moisture, particularly during the first growing season to help establish a strong root system. Mulching around the base will help retain moisture and keep roots cool.

Fertilize in early spring with an acid-loving plant fertilizer, following package instructions. Prune lightly after flowering to shape the plant and remove any dead or damaged branches. Protect from extreme winter winds and provide extra mulch in colder zones. With proper care, this gardenia will reward you with fragrant blooms and lush evergreen foliage for years to come.

What's Included

One Frost Proof Gardenia Cape Jasmine starter plant.

https://blakesflora.com/products/frost-proof-gardenia-cape-jasmine-starter-plant-fragrant-evergreen-shrub
