Plant seeds about 1 to 2 inches deep and 6 to 8 inches apart in rows spaced 18 to 24 inches apart. Fava beans prefer cool temperatures and will stop producing pods when the weather turns hot. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, and provide support for taller varieties if needed.

Once seedlings emerge, thin them to the recommended spacing to allow good air circulation. Mulch around plants to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Harvest pods when they are full and plump but before they become overly mature. For dried beans, allow pods to dry on the plant before shelling. Fava beans are generally pest-resistant but watch for aphids, which can be controlled with a strong spray of water.

What's Included

This listing includes 10 heirloom fava bean seeds (broad bean vegetable).

https://blakesflora.com/products/heirloom-fava-bean-seeds-broad-bean-vegetable-easy-grow-high-yield-10-pack
