Sow seeds on the surface of a moist, well-draining seed-starting mix and press them gently into the soil; do not cover, as light aids germination. Maintain a temperature of 65-70°F (18-21°C) and keep the medium evenly moist. Germination typically occurs in 10-21 days. Once seedlings have developed several true leaves, transplant them into individual pots and grow on in a cool, bright location.

Harden off seedlings before transplanting outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. Space plants 12-18 inches apart in a sunny to partially shaded location with well-drained soil. Water regularly to keep the soil moist but not soggy, and apply a balanced fertilizer every few weeks to support vigorous growth and abundant blooms. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continued blooming. Potomac snapdragons are relatively low-maintenance and reward with tall, colorful spikes throughout the cool season.

What's Included

1000 Potomac Snapdragon seeds.
