10 Seeds Green Ephedra Ephedra viridis

Green Ephedra is a rugged, evergreen shrub native to arid regions of western North America, valued for its jointed, bright green stems and remarkable tolerance of dry, poor soils. Its upright, broom-like form adds unusual texture to xeriscapes, rock gardens, and drought-conscious landscapes. This listing offers 10 seeds of Ephedra viridis, a slow-growing, long-lived species that develops into a dense, architectural specimen over time.
In the landscape, Green Ephedra serves as a striking ornamental accent, its leafless green stems providing year-round color and structure where little else thrives. It works well in desert-themed plantings, dry borders, and erosion-prone slopes, and its compact habit suits containers in cooler climates. Seeds can be sown in well-draining media and given a period of cool, moist stratification to encourage even germination. Once established, plants require minimal care and resent excessive moisture.
