Thin seedlings to the recommended spacing to encourage good air circulation and healthy growth.

Zinnias thrive in full sun and well-drained soil. Water at the base of plants to avoid wetting foliage, and mulch to conserve moisture. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to prolong flowering. Tall varieties may benefit from staking in windy areas. Avoid overhead watering to help prevent foliar issues.
