Planting & Care

Sow zinnia seeds indoors about 4 to 6 weeks before the last frost, or direct sow outdoors after the soil has warmed and the danger of frost has passed. Press seeds lightly into the soil surface and keep the medium evenly moist but not soggy. Provide warmth and bright light for germination, and thin or transplant seedlings once they are large enough to handle.

Grow Profusion Double Hot Cherry Zinnias in full sun with well-drained soil. Water at the base of the plants to help keep foliage dry, and allow good airflow between plants. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continued flowering. These compact zinnias are easy to grow and reward gardeners with abundant double blooms throughout the season.
