Planting & Care
Sow zinnia seeds outdoors after the last frost date, once the soil has warmed to at least 60°F (15°C). Press seeds lightly into the soil surface; do not cover deeply as light aids germination. Keep the soil evenly moist until seedlings emerge, typically in 7-14 days. Thin seedlings to the recommended spacing to ensure good air circulation. Water at the base of plants to prevent foliage diseases. Deadhead spent flowers regularly to encourage continued blooming. Fertilize lightly if soil is poor; too much nitrogen can reduce flower production.
