100 Seeds Showy Evening Primrose Oenothera speciosa Pink Wildflower Groundcover

Showy Evening Primrose is a low-growing perennial wildflower known for its cup-shaped pink blooms that open in the evening and remain attractive through the morning hours. Its spreading habit and delicate texture make it a charming addition to meadow plantings, wildflower gardens, and informal borders where it can naturalize over time. This variety offers reliable color and a soft, airy look that blends well with other sun-loving perennials.

Often used as a flowering groundcover or meadow component, Showy Evening Primrose performs best in full sun and well-drained soils. The blooms appear over a long season and are followed by seed capsules that can self-sow in suitable conditions. It pairs well with grasses and drought-tolerant companions in rock gardens, pollinator-friendly landscapes, and cottage-style beds. Space plants so the spreading stems have room to fill in without overcrowding.
