Planting & Care
These rooted cuttings are shipped as bare-root plants. Upon arrival, unpack them immediately and soak the roots in water for 30-60 minutes before planting. Choose a location with full sun and well-drained soil. If planting in containers, use a quality potting mix amended with perlite or sand for drainage. Dig a hole large enough to accommodate the roots, place the plant at the same depth it was growing previously, and backfill with soil. Water thoroughly after planting.
Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged during the first few weeks as the plants establish. Once established, rosemary is drought-tolerant and only needs occasional watering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds, but keep mulch away from the stem. Prune lightly to encourage bushy growth and harvest sprigs as needed for cooking.
