Planting & Care
Sow Moroccan Orange Poppy seeds directly outdoors in early spring or fall. Prepare a weed-free seedbed and scatter seeds thinly over the surface, pressing them gently into the soil; do not cover as light aids germination. Keep soil moist until seedlings establish. Thin seedlings to 6-12 inches apart to allow adequate airflow.
Once established, these poppies require little care. Water during prolonged dry spells, but avoid overwatering. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional blooms, or allow some to self-seed for next year's display.
