200 Psyche Mix Cosmos Seeds - White, Pink, Red Semi-Double Blooms

Psyche Mix Cosmos is a colorful annual flower mix known for its semi-double blooms in shades of white, pink, and red. These cheerful, daisy-like flowers rise on tall, slender stems above finely cut, feathery foliage, bringing a light and airy texture to garden beds and borders. Cosmos is a favorite for cut flower gardens, cottage-style plantings, and pollinator-friendly landscapes, where its open blooms attract bees and butterflies throughout the season.

Easy to grow from seed, Psyche Mix Cosmos performs best in full sun and tolerates poor to average soil. The plants bloom over a long period from summer into fall, especially when spent flowers are removed. With their graceful form and abundant color, these cosmos make an excellent choice for mass plantings, wildflower areas, and fresh or dried floral arrangements.

Planting & Care

Sow Psyche Mix Cosmos seeds directly outdoors after the last frost date, or start them indoors 4-6 weeks before transplanting. Press seeds lightly into the soil surface and keep them moist until germination, which typically occurs in 7-21 days at 70-75°F (21-24°C). Thin seedlings to stand 12-18 inches apart. These plants prefer full sun and well-drained soil; avoid over-fertilizing, as rich soil can encourage excessive foliage at the expense of flowers.

Water regularly during dry spells, but allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering and keep plants tidy. Tall varieties may benefit from staking in windy locations. Cosmos generally has few pest problems and is a low-maintenance choice for sunny gardens.
