Planting & Care

Sow Radiance Cosmos seeds directly outdoors after the last frost date, or start them indoors 4–6 weeks before transplanting. Lightly cover the seeds with soil, as they need darkness to germinate. Once seedlings are a few inches tall, thin them to the recommended spacing to encourage healthy growth.

Radiance Cosmos thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Water regularly during dry spells, but avoid overwatering, as the plants are susceptible to root rot in soggy conditions. Tall varieties may benefit from staking in windy areas. Deadhead spent flowers to prolong blooming and prevent self-seeding if desired. With minimal care, these cheerful flowers will reward you with a profusion of color all season long.
