Planting & Care
Sow Brocade Marigold seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost, or directly in the garden after the danger of frost has passed. Press seeds lightly into the soil and cover with a thin layer of soil, as light aids germination. Keep the soil consistently moist until seedlings emerge, which typically takes 7-14 days at 70-75°F. Once seedlings have two sets of true leaves, thin or transplant them to their final spacing.
For best performance, plant in full sun and water regularly, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continued blooming. Marigolds are relatively pest-resistant and low-maintenance, making them a great choice for borders, containers, and vegetable gardens.
