Once seedlings have developed a few true leaves, thin or transplant them to their final spacing.
Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil. Water plants regularly, especially during dry spells, and apply a balanced fertilizer sparingly to avoid excessive foliage at the expense of blooms. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continued blooming and maintain plant vigor throughout the season.
