Planting & Care

Sow Cinnamon Basil seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost or directly outdoors after the soil has warmed to at least 70°F (21°C). Press seeds lightly into the soil surface and keep them moist but not waterlogged; germination typically occurs in 7–14 days. Provide plenty of light for strong growth.

Once seedlings have several sets of true leaves, thin or transplant them to their final spacing. Water regularly, especially during dry spells, and pinch back flower buds to encourage bushy leaf production. Harvest leaves as needed, starting from the top of the plant to promote continued growth.
