50 Seeds Rugosa Rose Red Hardy Shrub Rose Fragrant Blooms

Rugosa Rose Red is a rugged, cold-hardy shrub rose prized for its crinkled dark green foliage and abundant, intensely fragrant crimson-red blooms. It forms a dense, suckering thicket over time, making it an excellent choice for hedgerows, borders, and naturalized landscapes where a low-maintenance, long-lived rose is desired.

The flowers appear through summer and are followed by large, tomato-shaped hips that add seasonal interest to the garden. The textured leaves turn attractive golden tones in autumn. This rose works well as a flowering hedge, in mixed shrub borders, or as a specimen plant, and the hips can be used in culinary preparations such as jams, jellies, and teas.
