500 Decurrent False Aster Seeds Heirloom Native Wildflower Pollinator Garden

Decurrent False Aster (Boltonia decurrens) is a tall, robust native perennial wildflower valued for its late-season clouds of small white to pale lavender daisy-like blooms. A striking addition to meadow plantings, rain gardens, and naturalized borders, it brings lasting color and structure when many other flowers have finished for the season.

This heirloom native is a favorite for pollinator gardens and wildflower meadows, where its long bloom period supports bees and butterflies. The spreading habit and upright stems make it useful for borders, cottage gardens, and mass plantings, and the blooms work well as cut flowers. It grows best in consistently moist to wet soils in full sun and can be grown from seed started indoors or sown directly after the threat of frost has passed.
