Planting & Care

Sow Cinnamon Basil seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost or directly outdoors after the danger of frost has passed and soil has warmed. Lightly cover seeds with a thin layer of soil, as they need light to germinate. Keep the soil consistently moist and maintain a temperature of 65-70°F (18-21°C). Germination typically occurs in 7-14 days.

Once seedlings have developed a few sets of true leaves, thin or transplant them to their final spacing. Provide full sun and regular watering, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Pinch back flower buds to encourage bushy growth and extend the harvest season. Harvest leaves as needed, using them fresh or drying them for later use.
