Ozark Beauty Strawberry Plants are a popular everbearing variety prized for their ability to produce fruit throughout the growing season. These vigorous plants yield sweet, medium-to-large red strawberries and perform well in garden beds, raised planters, and containers. With their everbearing habit, they offer a steady supply of berries from early summer into fall, making them a rewarding choice for home gardeners.

Hardy in USDA zones 4-9, Ozark Beauty is adaptable to a range of climates and is known for its cold tolerance. Planting & Care

Plant bare root strawberries as soon as possible after arrival. Soak the roots in water for 30-60 minutes before planting. Dig a hole large enough to spread the roots, and set the plant so the crown (where roots meet stems) is at or slightly above soil level. Space plants 12-18 inches apart in rows or beds. Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil evenly moist during establishment.

Apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring and again after the first harvest. Mulch around plants to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Remove runners if you want to encourage larger berries, or allow them to root for new plants. In colder zones, provide winter protection with straw mulch after the ground freezes. Harvest berries when fully red and ripe for best flavor.
