Planting & Care
Sow Profusion Mix zinnia seeds outdoors after the last frost date, or start them indoors 4–6 weeks before transplanting. Press seeds lightly into the soil surface and keep them moist until germination, which typically occurs in 7–14 days at 70–75°F (21–24°C). Once seedlings are established, thin them to the recommended spacing to encourage good air circulation.
Water regularly at the base of the plants to avoid wetting the foliage, and apply a balanced fertilizer if growth appears slow. Deadhead spent blooms to promote continued flowering. Zinnias are relatively low-maintenance and tolerate heat, making them a dependable choice for summer color.
