100 Seeds Evening Primrose Oenothera biennis Yellow Blooms Wildflower

Evening Primrose is a hardy biennial wildflower known for its bright yellow, four-petaled blooms that open in the late afternoon and evening, adding a soft, luminous quality to meadows, borders, and naturalized areas. Plants form a basal rosette in the first year before sending up tall, slender stems the following season, making them a graceful vertical accent in informal garden settings.

The flowers are attractive to nocturnal pollinators and provide season-long interest when planted in wildflower patches, cottage gardens, or pollinator-friendly landscapes. The taproot and self-seeding habit allow it to naturalize over time, and the sturdy stems work well in casual cut-flower arrangements. Grow it alongside other meadow species for a relaxed, low-maintenance planting scheme.
